About Me
"I studied at the Academy of the 'Teatro alla Scala' in Milan in my home country Italy and then at the School of Rosella Hightower in Cannes (France). I have professionally danced at Teatro La Fenice-Venice, Teatro Regio-Turin, at the Ballet du Louvre-Paris, Scapino Ballet-Amsterdam,
Bat Dor Dance Company-Tel Aviv, and The National Ballet-Amsterdam. I have danced as a soloist in both classical
and neoclassical pieces and in choreographies by Armando Navarro, Nils Christie, Hans van Manen, Rudi van Danzig, and others. I have also been a jury member at various dance competitions in Italy and Greece. I have always been interested in dance education and while I was still dancing myself, I also participated in various pedagogical courses on technique and dynamics in classical dance.
I started teaching in Florence and Milan. Since 2003, I have been a classical teacher at the MBO dance program in Haarlem. In Amsterdam, I have also taught at NJMT, Dansgroep Amsterdam (Itzik Galili & Krisztina de Chatel), the Henny Jurriens Studio, Chasse Dance Studios, IDT, and the Frank Sanders Academy. Currently, I teach at the Marieke van der Heinden ballet school and also provide private lessons and repertoire at Belcampo loft. My goal is to provide students with good technique, quality education, and to pass on my passion and love for dance.
I am also a co-founder of the dance competition in Amsterdam, founded in 2016: www.amsterdans.org"
